Skincare routine tracker
A skincare routine tracker that helps the habit stick
Most skincare only shows what it can do after weeks of doing it every day. Dermaa is a skincare routine tracker built around that one hard part — showing up morning and evening — so your routine becomes a habit instead of a shelf of half-used bottles.
Your morning and evening routine, one step at a time
Dermaa keeps exactly two routines: morning and evening. Each one is drawn as a path of steps. The step you are on opens up with what to do; the rest stay quiet until you get to them. Tick a step and the path fills in behind you.
Treatments you only do some days — exfoliating, a mask, a retinoid you are building up to — live in your evening routine with how often to do them, so a once-or-twice-a-week step never gets lost.
Streaks and a calendar of every day you showed up
- A streak for consecutive days on your routine, with milestones at 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100, 180 and 365 days.
- A week view where each day wears two rings — the outer for your morning routine, the inner for your evening one — so a missed evening is as visible as a missed morning.
- Forgot to log? Tap a faded day to fill it in after the fact.
- Up to two years of history: scroll back through the calendar, or jump straight to a date.
- Stats on how consistently you keep each routine over time.
Reminders at the times you choose
Set a morning and an evening reminder for your routine, plus an optional daily check-in reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they arrive on time even when the app is closed. Dermaa also uses your own reminder times to decide which routine is "now", rather than guessing from the clock.
Built for your skin, and yours to change
When you sign up, Dermaa asks about your skin type, concerns, goals, sensitivities and how much time you have, and builds a starting routine from your answers. Every step comes with:
- what it is for,
- key ingredients to look for, and what to avoid,
- the products you own for it, which you can add yourself.
You can add, edit, reorder and remove steps whenever you like. If you ask Dermaa to rebuild the routine later, it only replaces the steps it suggested — anything you added or changed yourself is kept.
See which steps are doing the work
Your skin concerns are paired with the routine step that addresses them, along with how many days this week you actually did it — for example, sunscreen on four of the last seven days. It turns "my pigmentation isn't improving" into something you can act on tonight.
More than a checklist
The routine tracker is the centre of Dermaa, but it isn't alone. A one-minute daily skin check-in gives you one skin score, an optional selfie gives you an AI skin analysis, and Sage, the AI skin coach, can answer questions about your routine with your own logs in mind.
Questions about tracking your routine
Is the routine tracker free?
Yes. Your routine, streaks, reminders, history and stats are free and unlimited. Premium only raises the daily limits on the AI features, like face scans and messages to Sage.
Can I use my own routine instead of the suggested one?
Yes. Edit, reorder or delete any suggested step, or add your own. Steps you write or change are never overwritten if the routine is rebuilt.
How do I track weekly treatments like exfoliating or a mask?
Add them to your evening routine with how often you do them. They sit in the routine you already open every night instead of a separate list you would forget to check.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing is lost. Your history keeps every day you did log, and if you did your routine but forgot to tick it, you can fill that day in afterwards from the week view.
Is Dermaa on iPhone?
Not yet. Dermaa is an Android app, coming soon to Google Play.
